Special Projects is our catch-all for engagements that are high-stakes, unconventional, or politically sensitive. Each is scoped individually after an initial conversation.

Mining & natural resources Navigating mineral rights, exploration licences, and the regulatory environment around extractive industries in Malawi requires specific knowledge and relationships. We’ve been here long enough to know what it actually takes.

Large tenders & procurement Public procurement in Malawi follows formal processes – but the informal layer matters just as much. We help international companies understand the landscape, identify the right local partners, and put together bids that are realistic and compliant.

Politically sensitive ventures Some projects touch areas where the wrong introduction or the wrong timing can close doors permanently. We advise on approach, timing, and stakeholder management for projects where the standard playbook doesn’t apply.

Private investor & relocation support For individuals – investors, entrepreneurs, or those considering a base in Malawi – we provide the same ground-level access and network that we offer corporate clients. From property and land navigation to introductions at the right level, handled with the same discretion.

Concierge & travel support For high-value visits where logistics, security, and access matter, we provide end-to-end support: ground transport, accommodation sourcing, meeting facilitation, and on-the-ground coordination throughout the stay.

How it works

We start with a confidential scoping conversation. No engagement without a clear, shared understanding of the objective, the constraints, and what success looks like.

We take on a small number of Special Projects at any given time. If we can’t take your project on, we’ll say so directly.

What we don’t do

We don’t facilitate anything illegal, unethical, or reputationally harmful. If a project requires cutting corners to work, we’re not the right partner.
